Does your organization make IT or the end user responsible for user data?<BR>
Do you know who is assigned to each computer?<BR>
<BR>
If the end users are responsible for their own data, and you know the users’ names, then you can image the machine (after giving warning and an opportunity to back up), and add the necessary user accounts through autorun data.<BR>

Thanks for the reply. I can Recon all my machines with the single admin account I have. What I need is all the accounts that are on each machine and for the Netboot to realise that I need them remade when I put Leopard on. The JSS will remember this if I do it manually, if I need to rebuild that machine the 2nd time. I just want to pre fill this information.<BR>

We are about to roll out Leopard to all our machines. We have been doing testing and no issues. What is time consuming is the fact that after we netboot we will have to manually add the new accounts into Casper for the install. Is their anyway I can ask Casper to Recon the machines and get all users from the machines at present? The machines will have the same name as they do now. The JSS already know this.<BR>

If not, can I somehow add users to the database as if I had done it in Casper and asked it to remember the setting in the JSS. Casper will remember the second time, but I want to speed up the first time.<BR>

Any help would be much appreciated.<BR>
